Dance is constantly revolving, growing and changing; Center for Dance Arts requires each of its training faculty to maintain a number of education hours a year to insure they are “to-date” with their teaching methods and style.
Jennifer McLaughlin – Owner/Instructor
Began her training in the art of dance at age 4 in West Palm Beach Florida. After training with multiple recognized dance institutions, Jennifer attended and completed her B.A. at the Pennsylvania State University while performing with the Orchesis Dance Company. Jennifer has had the privilege of training under such renowned companies as Ballet Florida, Philadanco, Jose Limon and Sydney Ballet. After years of training and performing, Jennifer began training dancers in 2000 and has been an educator in the art of dance for the past 14 years and a studio owner for 13 years. Jennifer also serves as an adjudicator for both regional and national dance events and currently works with the Cecchetti Council of America and holds Certification with the USA Gymnastics Association.
Caitlin Pittenger – Master Insructor
completed her M.F.A in Dance from Temple University in Philadelphia, P.A and graduated cum laude with a B.A. in Dance with a concentration in performance and choreography from Goucher College, Baltimore, M.D. She serves as dance faculty at Georgian Court University in Lakewood, N.J. as well as Richard Stockton College of New Jersey. Pittenger has gone on tour with ClancyWorks Dance Company, under the direction of Adrienne Clancy. She has worked with artists such as Ann Hutchinson Guest, founder of the Language of Dance Centre in London, Mino Nicolas, Ed Tyler, Tiffany Mills, Beverly Brown, Eva Gholson, Merián Soto and Nicole Canuso, as well as Amanda Thom Woodson, Juliet Forrest, and Glenna Blessing. Along with her faculty positions, she has been a guest artist and instructed master classes at numerous schools, and colleges on the east coast. Caitlin continues to perform professionally in addition to presenting her own work in Philadelphia, and New Jersey. Caitlin has also recently become a professor of dance at Stockton University and has been asked to present her work at Temple University.
Pamela Cantrell – Instructor/Dance Company Director
Pamela has been teaching dance for the past 11 years. Her dance training started when she was 3 years old in Jackson, New Jersey. She has moved throughout the state training at many different studios to extend her dance training in ballet, tap, jazz, hip-hop, contemporary, ballroom, and partnering. Pamela has won many awards and scholarships for her dancing as well as her choreography. She was a member of the New Jersey Nets Dance Team, and traveled with the NBA to places such as London, England and Moscow, Russia. Pamela has choreographed for the Cabrini College Dance Team and other schools around the Tri-State area. You may have seen her in Fashions Night Out in NYC performing with Joss Stone under the choreography of Jermaine Brown or on PIX 11 morning news. Pamela has also worked on Holland America Cruise Line traveling to the Mediterranean and Caribbean performing in production shows and musicals aboard the 2,000 + guest ship. Pamela continues to remain dedicated to her training while remaining an active member of the professional performance community.
Cassie Wolff- Instructor & Choreographer
Cassie Wolff (27) former NBA dancer for the New York Knicks, and Philadelphia 76ers, has been dancing since the age of two. She was technically trained and at the age of 13 was accepted into the Fine Performing Arts Center (Howell High School) where she furthered her studies training in dance, acting and singing. At age 16 Cassie was one of twelve students selected of all schools in New Jersey to study at the intense summer program at TCNJ college for the honored New Jersey Governors School of the Arts. At age 17 she was selected with a scholarship to further her studies at the University of the Arts (Philadelphia, PA.). Cassie has been trained in various styles of dance such as contemporary, modern, ballet, pointe, jazz, hip-hop, musical theater, tap and more. She celebrity guest teaches at different studios, camps and fund-raisers all across the east coast, and has won numerous choreography awards for her work. Cassie has performed world wide, touring in numerous cities in China and with world renowned arts such as Pitbul, Mac Miller, Taylor Swift, Jennifer Lopez, Corbin Blue, Debbie Gibson and more. She loves inspiring young artists and is excited to be a part of the Center for Dance Arts family.
